Why

As a hugely successful season drew to a close, Apparent (Cricket Australia’s lead agency) were tasked with building excitement for the Big Bash League finals – a fast-paced, fun and family-friendly format of the game. Building on the existing ‘Made of Moments’ platform, Studio Launch developed a brand new Finals logo and a variation of the master identity to elevate the Finals from the main season.

The logo needed to have it’s own distinct identity but still draw on the excitement of the BBL brand and have a visual consistency with the Cricket Australia masterbrand. The final route utilises the BBL acid yellow in type, as well as introducing the speed lines from the BBL brand.

This was an extensive, multi-faceted campaign, with over 150 assets created across OOH, press, social media, display ads and owned channels.
